For many Rangatahi, spaces that nurture creativity and cultural identity are not always easily accessible, yet they can play a critical role in building confidence and self-awareness.
Creativity can be a powerful pathway for Rangatahi to connect with their emotions, stories and communities, while developing skills of expression that move on to be utilised in all areas of life.
Aniwa is one of our Rangatahi currently attending Te Whitinga o Te Rā. She and her partner are both taking part in the music component of the programme and are learning about how to write and create music.
Hear directly from her about what participating in this programme means to her.
We still have spaces available for our next intake on 4 May. If you’re keen to learn how to write and create your own music, get in touch with our team today on 09 630 0862 or email info@tepaa.nz.
