‘Live, dream, and aspire!’
Ko tēnei te kārangaranga o Te Pā ki te rangatahi! This is the inspired call of Te Pā to our youth!

Te Pā is absolutely committed to contributing to ending homelessness of rangatahi and giving them an opportunity to grow from a place of stability.
Therefore we have built a pā tūwatawata that will enable rangatahi to enter and begin a journey of personal growth, planning, and skill building, before moving onwards and upwards into their future.
We’ve worked hard to make sure we are on the frontline of combatting youth housing issues with an amazing group of project supporters such as Ministry of Housing and Urban Development and Ministry of Development, and our in-house team.
In respectful acknowledgment of manawhenua the complex has been named ‘Te Ohomai Rangatahi o Waiohua’. We would like to thank with gratitude the whare opening blessing by Ngāti Tamaoho of whom bestowed the beautiful title on the whare. Ohomai refers to the awakening we believe our rangatahi will have from the experience of living in these whare, supported by our Te Pā whanau in the background.
We have big dreams for our rangatahi, as they are the leaders of tomorrow! We feel extremely happy to be a part of solutions that will give them the opportunity to do their best. We know that once they have experienced a positive living environment they will take those learnings with them forever.
We would also like to thank our associates for their contribution to this kaupapa and attendance at the blessing.
‘Ka pu te ruha, ka hao te rangatahi’
May the next generation take the reins!
