Saviour and Brihas came to us at the beginning of the year looking to change the direction of their path, and challenge themselves in terms of their future. They took the brave leap of asking for help, and listening to people they could trust in order to bring new light and outcomes to their world. Once homeless and unsure of how they would get through day to day, Brihas and Saviour are now thriving. A permanent home and support can change everything.

We are a whānau at Te Pā, and Brihas and Saviour’s Kaiarahi Atunaisa has been instrumental in the transition for them. We take our roles personally. We’re so happy for their progress, but we’re on hand for the struggles too. At the end of the day it’s been Brihas and Saviour who have put in the hard work and made decisions good for their future, but being apart of that is a win for all of us 🪶

Wise beyond their years, as they say in the video, they’ve learnt to be careful who they listen to, and to not make choices they could regret later.

“Don’t be ashamed to reach out, the outcome might be better than you expected”.- Saviour
