Te Ohomai Rangatahi
awakening the potential of rangatahi
PREVENTION, PLUS GET OUT AND STAY OUT
Te Ohomai Rangatahi is a rangatahi-centred and whānau-inclusive service for rangatahi who have been part of the justice system. It supports rangatahi and young adults (aged 11-30 years) to reintegrate into their whānau and/or communities of choice. It also specialises in preventing rangatahi from entering the justice system, or when they are in, to get out and stay out.
Te Ohomai Rangatahi prioritises system, service, rangatahi and whānau transformation using an evidence and outcomes-focused approach across the justice system pipeline. A strengths-based kaupapa Māori model, Te Ohomai Rangatahi is committed to supporting rangatahi to achieve long-term success via a return to their positive identity.

An investment plan has been produced with the support of the Centre for Social Impact to seek additional investment in Te Ohomai Rangatahi which will enable us to continue this crucial mahi.
